Mr. Slattery currently serves as the President, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer of Piton. He has more than 30 years of diverse leadership in financial services, engineering and construction management, real estate, and telecommunications. He helped co-found Piton in 2015, managing all legal, operational and regulatory activities for the firm. From 2018-2021, he was instrumental in forming and building a global family office services group in Texas for an ultra-high net worth client of Piton. Prior to Piton, Mr. Slattery worked at Annaly Capital (NYSE: NLY) from 2010-2014, serving as Chief Operating Officer of RCap Securities (a wholly-owned FINRA Broker Dealer), as a Director of Shannon Funding LLC (wholly-owned warehouse lending entity), and as a member of Annaly’s Enterprise Risk Committee. Prior to joining Annaly, he co-founded a technology firm of 300 professionals in 7 countries across 3 continents that provided design and fulfillment services to global wireless and wireline communications providers. Jim received his B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from Marquette University.
